it doesnt update fast at all. my sig was stuck as offline for 2 days for like a month or something
i vote to make it so it updates often like fIipd

no, bc it updates instantly on fIipd

It's imperative to cache images.

Flipd is an example of a forum that doesn't cache because they do not care for their user's security.

You can log IPs using any Flipd profile or post. You can create a PHP script which returns image/png, and log the IP of whoever loads the image.

It's incredibly insecure not to cache. This was a decision that was made consciously by Kingz staff to protect user's security.

Only thing I can think of is whitelisting trusted domains from the caching system.
