1) How to verify if the account you're purchasing comes with the OGE and no past phone number:
- Login to the Instagram account via browser or the mobile app and navigate to the 3 lines on the top right of your profile.
- From there, press on "your activity".
- Scroll down till you see "Account history" and from there you can see all the past email addresses, phone numbers, username changes etc.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The OGE may not always be the recovery email, any email that has been on the account for over 30 days will most likely act as the OGE. Multiple emails can often act as the recovery email.

2) How to: Secure an Instagram page:
- Make sure you secure the given email well, replacing all previous recovery info with your own if needed.
- Refer to tip #1 for information about the OGE, recovery mail and previous phone numbers.
- Add 2 factor authentication and save your back up codes in a secure area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the case of previous phone numbers, emails and accounts without the OGE, a swap would always be recommended for your safety.

3) I can't add 2FA or change the information on the account - what should I do?
As many of you know, Instagram has recently added a new setting where new logins are unable to change any information on the account, in this case there is one way to proceed:
- Go to the linked email of the account and go to the most recent email by Instagram notifying to a new login
- From there, you click on "this was not me" and you will be navigated to a new page where you will be asked to enter a code from the recovery email/number.
- All settings should now be accessible including 2FA.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This method only works if you have access to the recovery email/number. Do NOT use this method if you don't have access to the recovery email/number. In the case of multiple recovery emails, do not use this method unless you can access all of them.

4) My Instagram account was banned - what should I do?
- Do NOT submit any appeal and contact an unbanner immediately. There is a much higher chance of an unban if you do not submit a selfie or appeal the decision yourself.
- Having pictures of yourself posted on the account or archive can also help unban your account.

5) How do I check if my username is vulgar?
A vulgar user is a username that can never be swapped and should never be released as it will be sent into void permanently.
- Navigate to edit profile on any extra account that you have.
- Go to edit profile and username.
- Enter the desired username.
- If the account says "a user with that name already exists" that means the username is vulgar.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Just because your username isn't vulgar, does not mean it can be swapped. Check with a swapper to confirm.

6) I accidentally released my vulgar username - what do I do?
In this case, you are 95% likely to lose the username, however there is 1 method you may use to revert the username back:
- Go to the linked email.
- Go to the email you received regarding the user change and click this was not me.
- From there, enter the recovery code send to your recovery email/number.
- You will be shown your information, click no, secure my account.
- From there, the username should revert back.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This method only works within 48 hours of the user change. You must have access to the recovery info, 2FA must be off and the password must not have changed after the user release.

7) I recently claimed a username - can it be swapped?
- Recently claimed usernames CANNOT be swapped for 14-15 days after the claim and you must NOT change the username or it will be lost.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this applies to users claimed via a portal and NOT autoclaims.

8) I can't reset my password, it won't send me a reset link - what should I do?
- Create a facebook account with the linked email/phone number on the account.
- Confirm the email/phone number on the facebook by sending a code.
- Wait for 10 minutes to 1 hour and try sending yourself a new reset link.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have only tested this method with linked emails and not phone numbers. If the facebook gets banned upon creation, make a new one.

- After the time has completely passed, you may use the account.
