The token tied to pseudonymous X leaker "CyberLeek" has cratered even after they dropped what's being called the first real story-content spoiler for GTA VI, showing footage of a key protagonist.
Timeline: $CYBERLEEK started at a ~$40,000 market cap, spiked to $2 million after the first gameplay leak on August 18, then ran to $25 million by August 23. Since that peak it's down about 70%, including a near-40% drop in the last 24 hours, putting the market cap around $7.5 million at last check.
CyberLeek claims the leaked build is recent and that the game is "not ready at all," while asking followers to keep supporting the token. Rockstar Games issued a statement today confirming GTA VI isn't finished and saying the team is "heartbroken" by the leaks, while still targeting a November 19 release. Take-Two has reportedly sought subpoenas against Microsoft, Discord, and X to try to identify and stop whoever is behind the leaks.
There's a separate wrinkle here worth flagging: one user who claimed to have predicted the leaks in advance, and said Rockstar staff showed up questioning them at home, later had that footage repurposed to promote a crypto token, which has drawn suspicion the whole saga has a shill component baked in.
So the pattern looks familiar — a leak-driven hype token pumping hard on attention, then bleeding out as the market cap can't hold once the initial rush fades, spoilers or not.
Anyone tracking whether these leak-linked tokens keep following the same pump-then-collapse curve, or is this one different?
