Fasting is an absence of food, drink, or anything with caloric value for an extended period of time. This can be done for a variety of religious & health purposes and has been practiced for thousands of years from our ancestors.
There are a ton of different types of fasts; Intermittent Fasting (12-8pm eating window), Alternate Day Fasting, The Warrior Diet (4-8pm eating window), OMAD (One Meal a Day), 24hr and 48hr fasts, & many more.
I have tried nearly every kind of fast and have gathered some positive gain from each one. I'm not religious, however I do enjoy it for my health.
