Hello dear kingz.net users , today i will make a quick guide how to secure a gamertag.
1 st. Login to your Microsoft account using this link: https://account.microsoft.com/account
2nd. Go and click on >My Profile > Account Info (Edit Account Info) Add a new primary email address to your account and remove the old one , as long the old primary email address is still on the account the seller can contact the Microsoft Support and pull back the account easily. So i HIGHLY recommend to change your primary email address before changing your password or anything else!
3 th. Go to >Security , >Change Password , once you have changed your password move to >Additional security options , remove all additional security info that's left there and add your new ones. Last step turn on two-step authenticator and you good to go!
Side Info: Some Microsoft Accounts are compliance locked , means you can't access your Microsoft Account. If you should buy a gamertag and its compliance locked there is a small chance you can get your account unlocked if you contact the Microsoft Support and provide them some information related to the account, UNLESS the account got compliance locked while it had an active 2FA on it there is NO way to get it back.
If you plan on buying a gamertag make sure to buy it from a trusted seller like @Hurt , @Austin
