Hello everyone, I'm lean and today I am going to talk about how to protect a steam account so that nothing ever happens to it and you can be sure when buying an account or selling it. I have been buying steam accounts for about 4 years or more, and these are the most reliable ways I have found to secure the account.
Step 1 > First of all is who to buy an account from, always look for someone reputable who looks legit when selling (a person with a lot of vouchers and a good reputation).
Step 2 > The second thing is the account you want to buy, always make sure you buy an account that has OGE Acces and All Info, this is the most important of all, the OGE Acces is not so necessary, you can always change it, but the account info is always the most necessary.
Step 3 > When you receive the account, make sure that everything is in order, check if the first steam emails of the email account you have been given match more or less with the date of creation of the steam account.
Step 4 > The most important thing you should do inside the email, is to look at the security methods, if it has a number added, a recovery email, two step verification, all that you should remove, to make sure the account is yours, if the seller does not want to help with something or does not give in to remove his phone from the email or other verification system, that person will try to scam you and steal the account, so tell him to give you your money back or make a Deal Dispute right here.
Step 5 > All information are payments, cd keys, first phone number and last 4 digits of the cc. All this information if it is real we should find it in the mail, looking for old steam purchases, we will be able to verify if the last 4 digits of the card are correct.
Step 6 >Where we can check if the account has cd keys, if we go to the steam menu on the top right we can click on our name and profile picture, when we click we get a window with 5 different paths, and we will click on the second one "Details of the account", after this it will take us to the details of our account and on the right we will have three options and we must click on "View licenses and product key activation", and there we can see if the account has used cd keys or not, knowing if the seller is telling us the truth or not.
Step 7 > Always keep in touch with the owner of the account (the person who sold it to you) in case the seller is not telling the truth. Always keep in touch with the owner of the account (the person who sold it to you) in case something happens in the future to be able to talk to him to solve it.
I hope this has helped you to keep your account safe from scams and I hope everything goes well.
Thanks to @xd and @p since they have helped me with this information to create this post (give them a +rep).
