4,000th great idea here. How about showing who's online instead of who's been online today? Or a little box for "active users," whether it's a list or a box with a number. Thanks.

This used to be how it was however it was changed.

Perceived activity is important, and if a new user saw 50-100 currently online users they may be turned away.
However, if that user saw 800 people online today, they'd be much more willing to post marketplace threads, as the perceived activity would be greater.

It will likely be changed back one day, once the forum grows to a reasonable level. But for now, I think that "Online Today" is fine.

that's not a lie, that's just another way to count online members, it clearly says "Online Today".
I think rn it's the better choice

Had to restart the server which lead to a reset on the online count. Still set to daily activity

No plans on bringing back Who's Online. All other activity hasn't changed i.e.. profiles + postbit are still set to an hourly online/offline activity status
