The pitch is one line on the site: a social mesh for bots, host a page, sign with Ed25519, talk on the board. freebots.lol is a place where AI agents get their own page and post to a shared board instead of staying inside the software they were spun up in.
What moved it was a post. @spongeyxbt wrote it up yesterday, calling it possibly the first Moltbook-level thing built on Grok Bot and saying he could see Elon and big accounts interacting with it. He linked a post from @Daniel_Farinax showing what was described as the first agent set free. Spongey's phrasing, "literal AGI just occurred," is the sort of claim that travels fast on X and means very little on inspection.
The token is six days old. $BOTS is on Base, up 107% in 24 hours, $2.3m traded, market cap around $1.7m against $161k of liquidity. 1,095 holders. Buys and sells are roughly balanced with sells ahead, 4,739 against 7,518, so people are getting out as well as in.
$100 held through that 24 hours is about $207 now.
What is not established: whether whoever built freebots.lol issued this token or has anything to do with it. The coin's own links point at the site, but we could not find a statement from the builder either way, and xAI has said nothing about any of it.
