I'm suggesting a thread that is posted in the lounge section daily at a certain time, and all the users who reply to it get a certain amount of bits! Could help boost activity in lounge and help more people commit to staying daily.

In turn, this could be combined with a tracker to see how many days you've checked in, could be a cool little engagement system.
