Most game publishers prohibit account sales in their Terms of Service. This is important to understand before buying or selling:
This does not mean transactions don't happen — the private market is large and most completed transfers are not flagged. However, buyers should understand there is a risk of account termination, and sellers should disclose if the account has ever been flagged or banned.

What Makes a Gaming Account Valuable?
- Rare cosmetics and skins — Items that are no longer available in the game shop. Fortnite's Renegade Raider, Galaxy skin, and OG Season 1 items are examples.
- Account level and rank — High-level accounts or accounts with competitive rank histories (Diamond, Champion, Radiant, etc.) are worth more.
- OG username / gamertag — Short, clean, or dictionary-word in-game names add value.
- Platform region — Region-locked content (especially in Fortnite) can limit the buyer pool.
- V-Bucks / in-game currency balance — Remaining currency adds immediate value.
- Account age — Older accounts are often more valuable, especially if they have legacy items.
