As the site is still in its infancy, user referrals are the best way for us to grow whilst also rewarding our founding members. This thread should be a guide on how to gain these referrals quickly and efficiently, without upsetting members of other communities. Thanks to all of you who have already been using the referrals feature, your support does not go unnoticed.
Setting up your referral link
Every user by default has a referral link created. Simply use this link: https://kingz.net/account/referrals and click "copy" to grab yours. All links by default are in the following format:
https://kingz.net/?referrer= UID
(e.g. mine is https://kingz.net/?referrer=3 because I am UID 3)
Method 1. Before and after deals
Perhaps the best way to gain referrals is to do deals with other members of both this community and others. Once in a deal with another person, make sure to send them your Kingz.net link for the vouch afterwards. Also consider using one of our Trusted Middlemen (click) and using them to confirm onsite here, thus getting them to sign-up.
Method 2. Offsite advertising
This method has the potential to seem spammy/LQ, but if done right is highly effective. As many of you already own your own channels, servers, platforms, etc. a great way of growing your referrals is through promotions and shoutouts. Just make sure to add your referral link to the post and watch your referral count skyrocket. Get creative with this!
Method 3. Discord Status
One minor way to grow your referral count is to include our official Discord in your status. Simply add discord.gg/forum and away you go. Also consider adding your referral link to your about me to gain the referrals properly.
