if you're creative then it'll be easy once you got a hold of all the goodies that you may need (for example : gfx packs that aren't made by some 12yo minecraft designer with good textures & images ; learn to make good CCs & not use some pasted ones ; get into 3d software eventually like cinema4d or blender ; plugins ; general understanding of color grading and colors in general as well as light (also learn how to use lightroom) )
also, twitter is the holy grail of graphic design, you'll find so many talented people there (and also a shitton of Artist Groups that regularly recruit people, in those you can learn a lot and also do some duals with people that are more experienced than you for guidance and inspiration)
definitely easier to learn than other things as long as you bring the creativity and are genuinely interested - especially at the beginning where you won't get all too much attention for anything you do.
though, i would definitely recommend you to also get into some VFX stuff, especially animations (not like, actual animations like characters - but basics like people that do signatures for forums like this one - that is very much *in* nowadays with discord and all sorts of forums : but twitter headers are still the best thing to practice on!)
