Divine Is it risky to attempt a Twitch.tv self-amateur-username swap?

I'm going to keep this short, there's a certain username on twitch that I've had my eye on, I'm not going to say what or who has it, lovely account, but the account initially appeared to be jacked or otherwise questionable, would it be wise to buy it and release its name back into the twitch username pool and try to claim it on a fresh on the exact day its back claimable on twitch.tv's end on the date its released, or would a bot swallow it up?
