it's more time consuming rather than hard

It's hard to learn if you don't really have a goal

it's all in the language, what you intend to learn, and how you learn. If you start off trying to make API hooks or a whole application using low-quality Indian tutorials you'll probably have a tough time. I think Python is the easiest language to pick up and is quite versatile, but the best way to learn and effectively learn a language is to be actively taught it by someone. You can teach yourself, but it's so much better to have someone more experienced show you the ropes and help to debug.

Try and see if it's something you'd see yourself doing longterm or just putting the time into.
Python is what a lot of people would recommend you start with because it's fairly simple and straightforward. If you still do enjoy it and want to go further with it, you can look into what type of field you're trying to go into or what type of things you want to do through it be it cybersecurity, just making websites, frontend, backend, game development, etc. Different things specialize in different languages and try putting your focus toward what you want, but I would recommend trying to be semi proficient in at least a few different languages.

It's not hard to learn, especially if you start with a higher-level programming language like JavaScript or Python. Learning the lower-level programming languages like Assembly, C++, etc. will definitely be significantly harder because the compiler doesn't do everything for you and it potentially makes the software you write dangerous as sending the binary that you compiled from a lower-level programming language might not be compatible with other computers. I suggest you pick up JavaScript or Python first and see how you like it. Dedicate at least 1 - 2 hours a day and let me know how it goes. It's a great journey to go towards!
