Which do you prefer? Are you team manga or team anime?
I personally prefer anime, but lately I've only been reading One Piece, didn't watch any anime

Manga I think since some/most of the adaptations are pretty bad like Tokyo ghoul... But it honestly depends on the show if I read the manga or not

yeah tokyo ghoul's anime is horrible, I never ended watching / reading it, but I remember that when I used to read it (7 years ago) it was totally different from the anime
