MC Hosting and anticheat recommendations?

MC event planning is going along nicely but there are a few things we need to sort out. Primarily, a host and anticheat. Anyone have any suggestions for these? Not willing to pay for the anticheat as I would prefer to put all the money for this project into having a good lag free host. I was thinking about using Exaroton.me since they have the "pay as you go" model.
