I decided to make this guide to teach everyone information they must know before selling & buying tiktok accounts.
Let me know if there's anything I should change or add to this thread, I will give credit.

How do I secure the tiktok account I just purchased?
1. Change your password, you can do this by clicking the 3 lines (top right of your screen) on mobile then click "Settings and privacy" -> "Account" -> "Password". Make sure that you do not use the same password as you use elsewhere to be extra safe.
2. Change the current email to one that is yours. You can do this by following the same steps as above, but instead of clicking "Password", you will be clicking "Account Information" -> "Email". There will be a 6 digit code sent to the current email, enter that code & then change to your email.
3. Change the current phone number (if there is one) to yours. You can do this by following the same steps as in step 2, but click "Phone number" instead of email (right above email button). A 6 digit code will be sent to the current phone number, enter that code & then change to your phone number.
4. Remove previous devices. You can do this by clickiing the 3 lines (top right of your screen) on mobile -> "Settings and privacy" -> "Security" -> Manage devices. There will be a 6 digit code sent for every device you remove, so this might take a little while if there are a lot of devices.
5. Enable 2 step verification (2FA). You can do this by clickiing the 3 lines (top right of your screen) on mobile -> "Settings and privacy" -> "Security" -> "2-step verification" and then you have to pick which verification method to use.

Some of you must know that people are going around saying their tiktoks are "V1" because they have a green checkmark next to their username when going into the "change username" tab. (Credit to @novaks for the picture)
You can get a green checkmark next to your name by simply updating your tiktok profile (for example updating your bio).

Exploits can be anything from characters such as a period at the end of the username or slashes. An exploit can also be a user with capital letters.
Example: d. & .d - the username with the period at the end (d.) is the exploit.

I already explained how V1 works above, but people also say that the username who owns the tiktok link (example: tiktok.com/@yta) is the original non-duped user. Anyone who says so is a liar because you can claim the link simply by updating your tiktok profile (for example editing your bio).
How do I check if the username I'm buying is duped? Log into tiktok on your mobile device and search up the username you want to check for dupes. If there is more than one profile with the same username, then it's duped. Make sure to scroll a bit further down to make sure, because the user you're searching for does not always appear at the top.
What are fonts? Font users are users who have letters which look different/don't look exactly like the english alphabet.
