This is pretty necessary, and it should certainly be implemented.

It would need to be moderated.

You should limit posting to upgraded users as to make the volume of thread submissions not unbearable

Only reason why I've refrained from creating this is not knowing whether or not new threads should be moderated i.e. approved by Staff/Admins

Any thoughts? I want to keep it open for all but don't want it to negatively impact the site early on

I think definitely have an approval system. just let me moderate them all and itll be fine
