Other than my timeline filled with absolute trash I think it's a great move by Elon for the platform.

I saw someone make ~1500$ from 1 month of tweeting, I have no idea how that system works, but I also think it could be a good opportunity for people with good handles and good tweets (memes) to profit for promoting freedom of internet.

This is the main problem - shitposting, but we have shitposting in every other social, so ig its fine. It is great move because it will attract a lot of content creators to share more content on twitter and not only that but this monetization system will reward all the normal people on the platform who consume the content. Not all people will be rewarded but the ones who spam enough and nolife enough i would say
